District Patrol Camp

The Scouts District Patrol camp was colder than winter camp again this year (the wind definitely played a part in the temperature as well as taking out one of our dining shelters!). We had 6 patrols from 4 groups on camp this weekend and they took part in 6 activity bases being awarded points for various things – time taken, goal achieved, teamwork, attitude etc, they were also marked on things like the cooking of their evening meal, tent inspections and striking camp. Horringer brought home the trophy for the 2nd year in a row, very closely followed by Mildenhall but all patrols had a great weekend and I’m sure will sleep as well as us leaders tonight.
