Honington Cubs- Parliament week

Honington Cubs have taken part in this year’s Parliament week. We held our own Parliament with Cubs debating an activity they want included in next term’s programme, presided over by the Speaker of the House (otherwise known as one of our Young Leaders). They argued and counter-argued and summed up their cases before receiving a voting slip, going to the polling booth then posting their votes in the ballot box. Votes were counted by the Young Leaders and the Returning Officer (Young Leader) announced the results.
