Hardwick Heath Scout Campsite

This campsite is well suited for back-to-basics style camps. It lies at the southern end of Hardwick Heath in Bury St Edmunds and consists of woodland and a number of grassed areas for camping.

There is one large campfire pit and several smaller ones that are ideal for backwoods cooking. The toilet block is basic, but functional. There is no power supply, but it is easily lit with lamps, and strip lighting is in place for use with a 240V generator (not supplied, but loan possible).
